MY HOME BUTTON IS NOT RESPONDING

i hace a iphone 4 and my home button doesnt repose several time so please let me know to resolve these problem

Basic troubleshooting from the Users Guide is reset, restart, restore. Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If the problem continues, take the device to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.
