i just unboxed my new iphone 5 , when i tried to enter my wifi password o noticed some of the letters are not functional on the keyboard , after trying evey side of the screen ,i found that there is a blind (touch) spot all along the left side , i cant press shitft or the buttons upove , and not on the key board it goes up for the head of the screen .
is this a common problem ??
what should i do ?

Did Apple not replace your device with a functioning device?
it was a gift from some one from another country , i send it back to him so he take it to the operator he bought it from ,
it matters becouse if apple started being like Samsung by destributing bad devices its really a problem ..

There are no perfect devices. Every manufacturer has some percentage of products that are not perfect. Seems you simply got one of these less than perfect devices. Accept it, move on. Life is simply too short.
