How to remove iSight camera holder on clear 20" cinema display?

Hi I have applied my isight holder to my display and it's a bit to low on the back. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove and re-apply with out breaking the isight camera holder?

Thanks,
Guy

Guy,

A man after my own heart ;~) ... I did the same thing last year and wound up popping the mount in pieces.

Try some stuff called Goo Gone. It is available almost everywhere and is a yellowish, citrus smelling miracle (no I don't own stock!) It also cleans up fairly easily.

Use with CAUTION because it will infiltrate any opening - especially those heat vents at the top - but it should allow you to get the mount off in one piece. You may have to let it soak in a few minutes.

Of course the tacky/glue strip will be useless after this procedure and I had to reapply/reposition using heavy duty Velcro (white is esthetically better than black)

Good Luck

John
