Intel Core i5 supports 32GB RAM?

According to Apple, the Mid 2012 13" MacBook Pro can support up to 8GB.

People have installed and successfully utilised 16GB, Even Apple store people say this.

This is the exact processor as in my Mac, Intel says max RAM is 32GB dependant on type..

So can I buy two 16GB modules?

No the Intel Chipset used for notebook computers does not support 32GBs of RAM. Neither in a Mac or a Windows PC. It is a Limitation of the chipset and also there are NO 16GB SODIMM modules. So even if the chipset did support 32GBs you couldn't install any as there aren't any.
