Alternative means of contacting support than by phone
I have a profound hearing loss, making use of telephone extremely difficult.
Today, my Imessage wasn't working on my Macbook pro, and I got a pop up message saying I had to contact support to resolve this, but the only way of contacting Imessage support was by phone, and provide the code I was given.
I can't manage this therefore can't resolve the issue of Imessage not working.
It has been suggested on various forums to resolve the issue of ' Your Apple ID 'xxxxxxx.xxx' can't be used to set up Imessage at this time' that I log out of Imessage on my Ipad/Iphone and log back in again, but I'm wary of this in case I lose messaging on my Iphone/Ipadas well as my macbook?
Any suggestions.
BTW, I've raised it with Apple as a 'suggestion' to help support folk wih this disabilty to provide alternative means of contacting Imessage support other than by phone.
