My iCloud is down.. It asks to verify the password for my iCloud account on my MacBook and my iPhone.. I know I have the correct password and all is correct. Whats going on APPLE

ok.. how come my is asking for me to enter my password then to Verify password on my devices then? None of my settings where changed at all
Now it's says that the icloud account doesn't exist (the apple id exists but not valid for icloud).
Did they lose all my info?
