Q: Button on gmail screen, deletes emails, what?

When I open an email on my gmail account on my iphone 5, at the bottom are 5 choices to do with that email, the one in the middle, that looks like a filing box, when i hit that what happens to the email?

cuz I cant find it in trash, i cant find it anywhere after I hit that file button

HELP

i have lost a photo of my son skiing the Matterhorn!

it's archived. ck the folder called All Mail - should be in there, where you can move back to Inbox.

If you didn't change the settings on mail.google.com, it should land in the 'All Mail' folder.

You can change that behavior in the settings on the gmail website.

If you want to delete instead of archive, hold down that middle button until the delete option appears.
