Is it possible yet to convert a CDMA iphone 4 to GSM? I just purchased this phone and didn't know that Verizon uses a CDMA cell band. I've heard from most that it's impossible to do because of Verizon's iphone 4 not having a sim card. Is this true?

No. It's a physical impossibility. There is no GSM radio in the CDMA iPhone 4 (and thus, no SIM card slot).
Ok thanks...Well i guess i'll just have to sell the phone back on ebay. If the iPhone (4S) Verizon phone is unlocked (considering it has a SIM card slot), can that be possible to use a GSM radio on AT&T?
Verizon must unlock the GSM slot in the 4S, and they will not do for use with another US carrier. If you want to use AT&T as your carrier, buy a GSM model iPhone 4S, either locked to AT&T or unlocked.

No. A Verizon (or Sprint) iPhone 4S can not be used on any other US carrier, even if the SIM slot is unlocked.
If you want to use AT&T, just get a phone from AT&T. The iPhone 4 is free with a 2 year contract. The 4S is only $99.
