Cubase is crashing after my upgrade to 10.3.9

I upgraded my iMac from 10.2 to 10.3.9 about 5 months ago. When i bought the computer in 2003, I thought the Panther 10.3 was already preinstalled, i didn't realize I was using 10.2 all this time. The CD's that came with my purchase is what I had to install when I purchased the computer, but i did that much later, 2 years later.
I have had Cubase SE for 2 years now, and before the upgrade to 10.3 i was working just fine. Ever since I upgraded it, it "unexpectedly quits" after it initializes the program, but before opening a project, giving me the option of "reporting bugs to apple" which I did many times, but i haven't gotten any response or remedy.
I did call Cubase people, but they referred me to Mac support.
