Can anyone help me figure out how to convert a downloaded ACC file to MP3? Since I installed the latest Itunes update I don't seem to be able to do this.

The problem most Windows users have with iTunes 11 is Apple's inexplicable decision to hide the menus by default. Press Control-B or r go to the small icon with the arrow at the extreme upper left and select "Show Menu Bar":
Once you have the format set to MP3, right-click on the track you wish to convert and select "Create MP3 Version".
