Are Apple accounts only available on Apple products?

I am trying to access my icloud email account on my Blackberry but it says it can't find the server. Any ideas?

Hi Randers, thank you so much, the article, once I had got my head around what it was telling me, enabled me to get the settings right and I now have the account on the phone. Thank you very much for your help.
