My iPod Touch won't sync

My iPod Touch won't sync and I think it is related to the following two messages.

I receive this messge when turning on my computer - 'The procedure entry point sqlite3_wal_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library DQLite3.dll'. I searched my computer and found this file in Program Files/Common Files/Apple/Apple Application Support.

I receive this message when I try to sync the music purchased on iTunes - '"weaveflag was ot copied to the iPod "Sue's iPod" because it could not be found". A search did not locate this file on my computer.

Do I need to copy the SQLite3.dll file to another directory? Is it corrupted and I need a new file? Where do I get the 'weaveflag' file from?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm not very iPod savy. This was a hand-me-down from my son and has been working fine until recently.
