unbekannter Fehler (-42110)

An error message is displayed on startup of iTunes ("Ein unbekannter Fehler ist aufgetreten (-42110).") after the recent upgrade to version 11.0.2.26 (as identified by the file info of the Windows installer).

iTunes seems to be fully functional, despite the error message.

This error occurs again, on each subsequent start. I tried to reinstall using the installer provided by the iTunes web site (instead of the original update performed by the auto-update function of iTunes). The error message is unchanged, even after re-installing iTunes from a fresh download ...
