Q: Transfer e-mails from pc to mac

There is probably the answer to this but all I can find is threads dating back to 2007 so here goes and apologies if there is a definitive answer out there!  I have hundreds of e-mails in a personal (i.e. not on a server or MS Exchange) MS Outlook 2007 that I wish to transfer to my new MacBook Pro.  Is there a simple (or otherwise) way of doing this. All suggestions greatfully received.
