Difference in Memory between Mac Pro Dual and Mac Pro Quad 2006

Is there a difference between the Memory in a Mac Pro Dual 2006 and a Mac Pro Quad 2006?

ie I have some memory from a Mac Pro Dual 2006. Can I use this in the Mac Pro Quad 2006. They both take 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMMs .

yes and yes and those FBDIMMs work in a 2008. They do suffer from stress, hot and cold cycles and more so if they were not kept below 70*C they do tend to fail, and you should be boosting fans by a few 100 rpms.

And you should have replaced the gpu unless you have 8800GT and it is working fine, otherwise, ATI 5770 from Apple is a good choice.
