smc macbook 8,2

Hello, i am one of them User which has a battery problem with my mac. I try severell times to solve this problem by fixing with repairing my smc by startup. Later i read a description that my smc firmware have to be updated to version.

from 1.69f3 to SMC 1.69f4

MBP81.00.47.B27

i installed this and the problem will not be fixed. What can i do more than this to fix this battery problem. The x icon in battery will show all the time. Working ist not realy funny because the graficcard ati is realy very very slow and other funktions will no work ( maybe some seconds later)

please help me

You don't say exactly what battery problem you are having, is it a weak battery, charging all the time? You can find the conditions for your battery by clicking the apple in the left corner of the menu bar, About This Mac, More Info, System Report, Hardware, Power, and then get the battery Condition, Cycle count, Capacity, charege remaining.

Condition should be Normal or there is a problem.

My battery works at first fine, next day, the batterie icon will show with a "x" there must be an update which i downloaded and installed but i dont remember the date and what i installed. It was from apple update service.

Next day the computer sad, theres no battery. Nothing to charge. I tryed to use an another power plug, open my mac and pull the powerconnector form the mainboard, tryed so many.

i see that apple know this problem under:

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1237

but it dont help me...

What does the System Report say about the battery? Is the battery condition normal or something else?

u mean in "hardware" under powersupply? have geman language...

the icon by the clock, show me that there is no battery installed

There isnt anything about how many zyklen the battery will be used.

thats it, i didn´t have this point, because there is no battery installed. I search for a german example and other user have this point - i didn´t !! My mac means there is no battery . can it be the the battery chip is out of order after installing the older version of smc?

OK, we are getting some place now...your MacBook says there is no batterie...but there is one installed...then either the battery has failed and does not appear or there is a failure in the battery circuit. In either case you need to have a service technician check the MacBook to see exactly what is wrong.

The Apple store genius bar is normally no charge for diagnosis, and will give an estimate of repair costs so you can make a decision.
