Cursor resetting to the beginning of my text when space bar is pressed.

Whilst in safari on MBPR 15" running OS X 10.8.2 every time I press the space bar the flashing text entry cursor resets to the beginning of my text entry. I know they're focusing on graphics and drivers in OS X ML 10.8.3 so I hope this will fix the issue. I was just curious if anyone else is having this problem?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion

From the menu bar, select

Edit ▹ Substitutions

and uncheck Text Replacement.

Thanks, that seems to have resolved the issue but it shouldnt be causing that to hapen anyway should it? do you know if apple are aware or working on a fix?
