The volume on my iPhone 5 keeps going up by itself when I have earphones in, but when I have the same earphones in my iPod everything is fine, how do I fix this problem? I have tried to reset my phone but nothing changed.

When you plug in headphones the volume automatically changes to the volume that your iPhone was at when you unplugged the headphones last.

Yes but when I'm in the middle of listening to a song when my headphones have been plugged in for like and hour the volume constantly goes up even when I turn the volume back down it goes up again, so frustrating.
Try resetting your iPhone. Hold home and lock/unlock for 10 seconds. Don't let the word reset confuse you. Nothing will be deleted.

Go to an apple store. There will be a place to ask geniuses questions.
