I am trying to create a shortcut (icon) to put on the home screen.
You can't do that. Just download the Pandora app from the App Store.

All apps are on the home screens (desktop). When you download Pandora, it will be on one of the home screens.
Desktop on your computer? OR are you tyring to move it to the front screen?
IF front screen hold down on the app until it wiggles and then slide it to the first page of your phone.
Download it from the app store. There is a pandora app.
Downloaded it again from the Apple store and I I have the Icon, thanks.
