Using Zoom H4n as an Audio Interface?

Was wondering if anyone has tried to set it up as an audio interface with Logic Pro. Just bought a Zoom H4n. Should receive it mid next week. I've seen various web claims that it works through its usb cable but i was wondering exactly how well does it work? I currently use a Saffire Pro 24DSP (and love it) but it would be great to be able to utilize the H4n's two XLR inputs. That with the Saffire Pro 24 would give me 4 total XLR inputs going into Logic Pro. Perhaps a different cable config/ input/output other than usb?

Any advise would be warmly welcomed...

I've used my Zoom H4 many times as a 'quick I've got an idea I need to get the basics into Logic ASAP' type interface if I'm away from my main set up. It does the job very well as an interface by either using the internal mic's or the XLR's... so in theory the H4n should be able to work in the same way.
I'm looking to upgrade my Zoom H4 soon so will keep an eye on this thread for your input MadDog15 good luck.

Thanks to you both for the reply.

Auxpin, if you're interested, here's the link to the one I bought on eBay:

Great price so I couldn't pass it up. (Got mine by making offer for $219.00)

Initially I was looking for something to capture more professional audio with my DSLR set up. But also being a musician for 30+ years now, and reading about all its capabilities, I'm super excited to get this amazing little field recorder! And you're right: How many times have I thought of a great melody or rhythm then by the time I get to my studio, prep logic for a session, tune up and ... BAM! I can't remember the melody or phrasing I was so excited about!

Eriksimon: The fact that I'm trying to add the H4n's XLR inputs via its USB output concerns me a little. Wish it had an optical out. Then I'd go straight into the Saffire Pro 24's optical in. But we'll have to wait and see.

I am in the States. (And only about 600 miles from their location.) $219.00 was the total for the unit and shipping. That said, $269.00 is about the average and competitive price for someone in the US. So if you're in the UK, $269 is a great deal (pending possible customs or duty taxes) for the unit and shipping then cheers to you! (IFYI: 've seen the cost estimated anywhere from $300 - $350 for an international purchase with shipping)
