I am on deployment with VERY limited internet access. I have gone through all the movies on my IPad and would like to have access to the rest of my movies at home. Is there a way for my wife to load ITunes movies off my Mac at home to an external hard drive, send me it to me and then I can view them from my IPad? How do I set up the IPad to look for the movies on the drive?
You will have to download and install the Seagate Media app to stream movies.
Western Digital makes a similar device and LaCie also just released one.
Hello guys, I dont know why but every time i plug in my external hard disk "WD" I can only look at the files but I can not delete or put anything in my external hadr disk, WHY?
You are plugging your in your WD model to your iPad? How?
You cannot put anything on or delete anything on the external hard drive, iOS does not have a user accessible file management system.
