Turning OFF scrolling notes in sidebar

In the updated version 6.0.1, the notes in the sidebar now scroll independently of the text. I want them to scroll WITH the text so I can see at a glance the comments I've made on a page without having to 'open' the note. Is there an option to do this? This used to be the default behavior in Preview.
