Does anyone know:

how to reset the "auto delete" function on the safari browsing history?
why the safari browsing history is automatically deleted after about 1 or 2 weeks?

When you go to Settings>Safari what settings do you currently have on?

my current safari settings:

auto fill: off

open tabs in background: on

always show bookmarks bar: on

private browsing: off

accept cookies: from visited

Security: fraud warning: on

Java script: on

block pop ups: on

advanced: web inspector: off
