Extend Airport usinf WDS?

Can i extend the range of my AE (Airport Extreme) with like those other routers or wireless things like NetGear or any of those others

IBook G4 Airport Extreme IMac G5, Mac OS X (10.4.6)

Your best bet is to use an AirPort Express to extend the network range using WDS. The Linksys WRT54G, two Belkin models and one Buffalo Technologies model will also use WDS, but the set-up is not for the faint hearted.

So what routers can i use to use wds on my airport Extreme cause 😟 theres no Airport Extreme, Express, or just regular Airport

Would you have any suggestions how to use an AE to create a WDS network when it is used with a Linksys WAG54G?

Yeah you find what the ID of the other router by opening internet connection, then you connect to the 1 you want to extend the range to. Then after you have there id then i would use it on Airport Admin like if it was an AE. But that doesnt work. So i was wondering what routers do work.
