no sound on my macbook
Im having trouble getting my sound to work from internal speakers. When I plug in headsets, they work but Im also getting a flashing red light inside the headset jack?
MacBook (13-inch Late 2007), Mac OS X (10.6.8)
It probably means that the internal switch is stuck. Insert the headphone jack a few times and see if that will trip the switch. If no success, try a toothpick or cocktail stirrer and jiggle it inside in a rotating motion. If still no success, an Apple store genius bar appointment should be made.
