Q: Find My Friends "verification" error message

Find My Friends app will not allow me to use it once I have signed in with my Apple iD - pop up error message says I have to verify my primary email with AppleiD at appleid.apple.com.  This can't be done.  The email I am told to verify is my Apple ID. This problem occurs with both my ipad mini and my iPhone.

    Hi!,

     

    If you go to appleid.apple.com and login there with your appleid and password, do you see your primary mail address there?  Is it verified?  If not, do you see the option to resend a verification mail? Does this send?

     

    If you still do not receive the mail, please check your junk/spam/unwanted mail folder on that mail account.
