Ok so my iPod wont update or download everytime I try to update it say cannot connect to iTunes so I didn't know what to do so I deleted a lot of my apps and downloaded the IOS 6 thing and my YOUTUBE IS GONE and. I STILL CAN'T UPDATE OR DOWNLOAD SO PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Try logging out of your account on your iPoad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if it then works. If it doesn't then you could try a soft-reset : press and hold both the home and sleep buttons for 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.
For YouTube, that's no included in iOS 6 - but google have their own app in the store which you can download
