Q: troubleshoot wireless mouse. It is acting as if a button is being held down - sending multiple signals when one will do.

It does not appear dirty, the battery is fine, the connections are fine but it is haywire to the point of being useless. Any advice?

wireless mouse, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
