Can you print directly to a printer from an ipad?
I bought a Canon MX436 printer as it has air print. The ipad has a 3g sim for it's internet access, as there is no wi-fi or network where the ipad is used?

If there is no WiFi, then whether the Canon is AirPrint capable or not, you are definitely out of luck.
Printing from an IPad requires the printer and iPad to be on the same WiFi network.

There are AirPrint printers that lack wifi. These printers connect to a wifi router via ethernet and the wifi router routes traffic between the wireless segment and the wired segment of the wifi network.
