    Hi Tricli,

What version of iTunes are you running on your computer?

    OK,

Well, on your Mac, only the items that you purchased on the actual Mac will show in the Purchased Folder. To see the rest, you need to click on the iTunes Store, then click on the Music Option, then, on the right-hand side under Quick Links, click on Purchased.

You can then click on "All" or "Not on this Computer" (upper right), and then click on All Songs to see the list of items that you have purchased but not yet downloaded to the Mac. You can then selectively click on the little cloud next to each song and download the ones you select, or you can click on the "Download All" - bottom right.

Be back momentarily with the device info....

Whoops - sorry - just realized that the version you were showing for your Mac was the iTunes 10.6 version, and Quick Links did not come out until 10.7....can't remember the procedures for retrieving purchases from that level of iTunes.

    Any thoughts about updating?

For your devices, click on Purchased, then Music (or Movies or TV Shows), then "Not on this iPad/iPhone", then select the ones you want to download or select Download All.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,

Is she logged into iTunes on the iPad Mini with a different Apple ID than the one that the items were purchased under?

Also, when you say that all of your computers are "Authorized"....if she is using a different AppleID than the one(s) that the computer was authorized under, you will need to bring up iTunes on the computer where your iTunes library is stored, and sign her ID on, then authorize the computer for that ID....

OK, so you use one AppleID for the family, and that is the ID that the computer with the iTunes library is Authorized under, and it is also the ID that you have logged on to the iTunes & App Store on the iPad Mini, right?

And you have the same iCloud account turned on on the iPad Mini that you have turned on on the computer with the iTunes library?

If the answer to this one is yes also, then log out of the iTunes store on the Mini

Make sure all other apps are closed - double click the Home key, and then press on the first app showing in the list. Click on the "-" (minus sign) on each of them to close them

Sign back on to the iTunes store on the Mini, and see if under Purchased/Not on this iPad, the items are now showing for download

If that does not work, then delete the iCloud account and re-add it to the Mini

Finally, if none of those steps work, then reset the Mini - press and hold down on both the Home and the Power buttons until the Silver Apple appears (you will not lose any data). Once the Home screen comes up again, go back into iTunes and see if you can now see your Purchased music.

If you cannot, then I would suggest hooking the Mini up to the computer with your iTunes library, and manually syncing the music to the Mini. Make sure that you have the "Sync Music" option turned on in the Music tab on the Mini's profile in iTunes on the computer (the one that shows when you hook the Mini up and then click on it), and that you have selected the specific music you want sync'd (all or selected)

One last thought - if your music library is on the Mac rather than on the PC, the issue may be because the Mac is running such an old version of iTunes.....

Keep me posted, and let me know if you have any other questions!
