Just rec'd email (Mar 03 '13) from Evernote advising security breach & need to change p/w with link to site.

Anybody else rec'd same? Is it genuine?

News reports say they were massively hacked and are requiring all users to create new passwords.


The paranoid would avoid the email link to the site and type it in a new Browser window themselves.


Also, when you log in and change to httpS: the site has to present a certiificate that matches the site-name you typed, or you get an alert.

I got the email and went to the evernote site by typing in the address in my browser, and it forced me to change my password.  Either the mail was legit, or some clever phisher out there also managed to subvert the Evernote DNS as well...
