my appletv is not connecting with apple store on my mac pro?

appletv is not supposed to do that at all
appletv connects to apple store on apples server over the Internet no mac pro involved
other than that appletv can be used as remote speakers from itunes on your mac pro
other than that appletv can access the shared itunes lib on your mac pro when the mac pro is running
