Movie stopped 15 minutes before finishing. Able to view ending on computer but not TV. Trying another movie download but just get spinner on black screen. have rebooted both computer and tv, no resolution.

Have rented Apple TV movies and TV shows and viewed them many times without trouble. Tonight the rented movie played well then suddenly stopped 15 minutes before the end and screen flipped to the Apple TV menu. We rebooted the TV and the computer and still could not view the movie on the TV. We did finish watching it on the computer.

We then upgraded the Apple TV software on the TV and rebooted the TV again, but when we tried to watch a second rented movie, we got only the spinner on the black screen for fifteen minutes. When the picture finally came on, it would not start.

Internet connection on the computer is strong.

Any suggestions?
