I highlighted a picture from the USA today app, it gave me the option of copying (as opposed to saving to my photo library) which I did. How do, or what are my options for pasting?

Hold the picture down for a second or two; you'll be given 2 options (Save Image or Copy).
You can Copy and Paste to your document e.g. Quickoffice Pro

Ok. But if I don't have that on my iPad...how do I save or paste the pic to my photo album?
Are you sure you do not have the "Save Image" option?
No. Sometimes I don't get that as an option. It just highlights the photo, gives me the option to copy but pasting it to replicate the picture for use is where I get lost. I'm wondering if its because I tried doing it in a news app (usatoday in this case) and not safari?
But then I ask myself "why would it give me the option to copy without an option to paste it somewhere.?"
Typically you can't even get the option to copy photos in newspaper apps because most of those photos are copyrighted and you are not allowed to use them without permission. I have the USA Today app and I tried to copy about 10 photos and could not even get the option to pop up.
