Live very far from home, my whole famly have Iphones (myself included) we use facetime a lot but i have a Alienware PC with windows 7, and would like to know if there is anyway to use facetime from the laptop? i hate skype.

FaceTime is not compatible with windows7, it is designed for Apple systems and devices only.
There's no version of FaceTime for Windows. However, there is a free video chat service for Windows called Skype that you should consider. Visithttp://www.skype.com/en/ for more information.
There is no facetime for windows. But there is something called oovoo which works very well.
I wanted to make this a little more clear. Face Time protocal was to be an open standard, what that means is if someone with the know how and time were to develop a platform for winodws they could. Sadly noone as of yet has done this.
Compatibility isn't really the issue. Apple supposedly left Facetime "open" such that someone could build it into an application compatible with other OS's. It's just that no one has. I wish Apple would. Skype is great, but Facetime is so easy to use on the iPad, its a shame they don't port it. I'm sure it has to do with trying to get users to buy Mac computers if they want Facetime on their computer. That's cool, I'll stick with Skype since it's ported to both.
