I would check your RAM chips, especially the one in slot 1. It's possible one is loose, or is now bad.

It could also be in your Graphics Card/Logic Board. If it were mine, I'd test the RAM chips by switching them in and out. If both work, then I'd take it in.

when i took the slot 1 out everything was back in order. Then i took the other one off and tried the one from slot 1 and still everything in order. do you think it could just be loose?

now i m using both and everything seems fine. i hope the panics dont come back. however i noticed in the self test than in slot 0 it also has a code right next to it, while in slot 1 there is no code. does it have anything to do?

how did you know it was slot 1?

thank you for your comment it was extremely helpful!

Question- I too am getting Kernel Panics, I've got third party RAM installed, but never had a problem until last week, the RAM has been in there for almost 6 months. I've got a mix of Apple RAM and Third Party, do they not play well with each other? Did one of my third party slots go bad? There are no red lights indicating such on the boards.. is there a way to check that?

Also just installed my own airport card a little over a month ago, but again, no problems until this past week.

The panics are totally intermittent, no rhyme or reason to them at all.

I can post a copy of my kernel panic report if necessary.

Thanks.
