I have a iPod charger clock and i leave my iPod in there basically 24/7 except for when I use it which isn't that a lot. It that bad for the battery? Should take it out during the day and leave it in during the night? What should i do?

The charging circuit senses when the battery is fully charged and shuts down. When it drops below 93-95% charge the circuit starts up again. It is good to take it off the charging source occasionally and exercise the battery.
Also...
For proper reporting of the battery’s state of charge, be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).
