I just got a new harddrive trying to set up mac mail, its not accepting my password and I keep getting pop up window asking for keychain password.

I am not using a keychain password (that I know of).

Help, thank you!

Keychain is where Mail stores your password.

Normally, you can solve this problem by going into Mail > Preferences > Accounts

Clear the password field (if it's not empty already) and re-enter the password. Click out of the Accounts tab and choose 'Save' from the resulting dialog.
