safari

Safari froze on launch, after 30 secs, drew my top page like this:

I was able to take a sample of the process, but am unable to attach it here.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), 17" 2007

First thing to try in this case is to reset Safari.

Reset Safari.

Click Safari in the menu bar.

From the drop down select "Reset Safari".

Uncheck the box next to " Remove saved names and passwords".

Click "Reset".

Yeah, I reset Safari once a month or so. In this case, I just restarted. Find it curious Apple doesn't provide me with the means of reporting the bug...

This issue did not generate a report that I could find since the app never crashed.
