Can a Mac mini be used with a G5 to expand the computer's capacity?

iMac G5 (20-inch iSight), Mac OS X (10.6.8)

No and if your 20" iSight is running 10.6.8, then it is an Intel iMac and not a PowerPC G5


You can however use and access the iMac's Hard Drive using a 6 to 9 pin FireWire 400 to 800 cable in Target Disk Mode.
