Can't use keyboard arrow keys to change song??

Since upgrading to iTunes 11, I can no longer skip to the next song/go back using the arrow keys on my keyboard. The spacebar function still works. Help!

I was having this same issue too & accidently stumbled on a fix! The issue is that you have the "next track" keyboard shortcut (command + left or right arrow) set up as a system keyboard shortcut as well.


Go into System Preferences > Keyboard. Click the "Keyboard Shortcuts" tab & select Mission Conrol on the left panel to show these keyboard shortcuts. If the check boxes "Move left a space" & "Move right a space" are checked, then uncheck them and this will restore the keyboard controls to itunes.


I liked it much better when you didn't have to press command too, but at least you'll be able to skip arround songs again with the keyboard arrows!
