Google image search within Safari

Hi all,

When I do a Google image search within Safari I no longer get the preview pages that swipe horizontally, instead I get a perpetual vertical scroll. Also, clicking on an image now opens an un-zoomable copy of the image, with a white X in the top right corner, and I have no access to any more detail without navigating to the host page etc.

My first thought was that Google must have changed something, but I am surprised that I haven't found any discussion of this on the net, so I wonder if it is a problem with my iPhone?

Thanks Ocean20, that does allow me to access the full size image, but it is an awkward way to view the results pages. What I really want is the 'mobile' image search behaviour prior to about 2 days ago - where did it go?!

Has Google changed how search results are displayed on iOS, has Apple changed something, or is my iPhone doing something different to everybody else's?

I don't want to sound ungrateful for your help, and I may look into that, but it doesn't answer my question.

The functionality I am experiencing has changed. I really want to know whether there is something wrong with my iPhone settings, or if Google and/or Apple have changed something in the last couple of days.

Can you (or ANYONE) please tell me if you still have the 'normal' image search in Safari?
