Q: password will not work even though I have reset my apple ID

Hi There,

I could not get into my account on my Macbook Pro laptop & it suggested I reset my apple ID.

I have now done that & I still cannot get into my laptop.

Why might this be?

Your user password isn't - usually - your Apple ID password (which you used to get into this forum).

What version of OS X are you running? It sounds as though you need only change your user password, which is usually pretty simple.

Follow the instructions in the first and second boxes
