so... i just purchased my ipad this week new. & im extremely frustrated when you pay this much money for something that now is a black screen & wont do anything but play the sound of a "ding" when i push the menu button. right before it went back i was on the famous app "pinterest" & the screen faded to gray then black... nothing popped up on the screen saying error. so....
Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple logo.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
i have done the hold the on/off button+home button several times & nothing.... done the back up... so i guess just that genius bar thing... i really want to just take it back to get my money back if it already has a problem within just 5 days of using it. that to me isnt worth the money i paid. im sorry im venting. i think anyone would be just as frustrated!
