iOS 6.1.2 Battery Problem for IPad 4 wifi

Since I upgraded to the new iOS. I have had huge battery drain uses and the tablet doesn't last me for a day. I have currently been on it for one hour and it has dropped 25 percent of battery. I have done all fixes and didn't have any issues before I installed the new iOS. Any ideas? Does anyone know when Apple will correct?
