home sharing no longer works

Just upgraded to ios 6 and now no home sharing on my iPad. Anyone else having this issue. One of the reasons I bought an iPad was to use my music, videos and podcasts with iTunes. Apple products are no longer worth the premium if their software doesn't work. Particularly when they eliminated functionality that was previously present.
