my ipod classic is saying do not disconnect frozen on the screen

my ipod classic is saying do not disconnect on the screen and it is not connected to anything I can't access anything on it. I tried to download some music from my computer and set the ipod back to factory settings. The screen is saying do not disconnect. What do I do to get it to work.

Try a system reset, hold down the off button until it turns of and then back on again, this might not work though if it is properly stuck. If all else fails go to Apple
