I'm getting a lot of unsupported image format messages, even though they worked fine yesterday.  Nikon D700 files, some converted to PS.  Help.

What happened between yesterday and today? What has changed? Have you installed or upgraded anything - plug-ins, camera helper application? Moved your Aperture library? Imported new images? Has Aperture crashed at some point? Do you see any warning messages in the Console window when you open Aperture?

Nothing has changed.   No warning messages, no new applications installed, the only thing that's been upgraded are some NIK plugins that I rarely use in Aperture.

I've had to reboot Aperture several times, then rebuild the library due to inconsistancies.  So today I started a new library for this mont's images.  Just imported a bunch of NEFs from an event on Saturday.  Now I'm starting to edit and getting the big black viewer window with the triangle and !

Did you have to run an istaller, when you upgraded the plug-ins? That may have changed the system library.

Had same problem! A favorite photo now has triangle with unsupported format. I selected it, then selected 'duplicate version' and the photo reappeared as a dup. No idea what's going on, but this got back the photo.

I have the same problem. It happens after edit with a NIK plugin. How can i fix this ? It starts after upgrade to OSX Maveriks.
