With those symptoms, I'd try the following document:
Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store
(If there's a SpeedBit LSP showing up in Autoruns, it's usually best to just uninstall your SpeedBit Video Accelerator.)

If so, try uninstalling that.

Mar 4, 2013 3:37 PM in response to desperate pursuitby b noir,Old filters can include LSPs that can interfere with iTunes, producing the iTunes symptoms you're getting. Hence the suggestion to uninstall that particular filter.

Mar 4, 2013 9:16 PM in response to desperate pursuitby b noir,Drat. Okay ... that entry in Autoruns is the likeliest candidate for the cause of the problem. If we can't remove it by uninstalling an associated program, we could try clearing the Winsock registry keys manually.
Let's try wiclee's instructions from the following post:
