This is really important seeing as I already have LoJack Pro connected to my computer and ready to go - I REALLY don't want the culprit to know when connected to the internet.

Uninstall the app off the Mac and restart.
I am unable to do this as my Macbook has been stolen, I want to turn off the alarm because I have LoJack and I don't want to give the culprit any indication he is being tracked.
If you turned it on and then couldn't turn it off, chances are good that laptop has lost connectivity with the network and/or the FindMyMac app. Does it still show up online anywhere? If not, you might have tipped your hat already.
I know the laptop hasn't been connected to the internet, I set find my iPhone and LoJack to notify me as soon as it was and still have heard nothing back. THis is likely as I was logged in as myself(password protected) but I have an admin and guest account without passwords.
Chances are good the theif has (if he's using it) already wiped the drive or even replaced it to solve the tracking issue. Unless the LoJack software is installed in EFI, you might as well kiss that laptop goodby. First thing people do nowadays is wipe the device if they ever plan on using it after theft.
even if you wipe the drive LoJack is still there, it's installed in a hidden partition so you would have get rid of the entire OS. I caught a glimpse of the culprit and from what I seen he is more of a low life than a computer nerd. It is possible he could have tried to log-in but didn't notice the guest and admin account. While I see what you're saying I still have some hope, from what I've read online it took people more than a day to see that their laptop had gone online. If it can't get replaced LoJack has a $1,000 guarantee but that still doesn't make up for the $3,000 worth of equipment lost.
